Spite Paddle

We made a pickleball paddle out of spite.

Hypothetically, if you developed a product for a potential client that turned out to be a grifter, would you release the product yourself? Asking for a friend.

But really, it's not about that! We ended up with a great product that we loved using, and we think you're gonna love it, too.

Meet The Spite Paddle: a solid White Ash pickleball paddle.

Rather than let a perfectly good paddle die in the prototype graveyard, we figured we'd give it a home.

A Pro's Take:

We took the Biglow team and our paddles to a court in Winnipeg and learned all about the sport from our local pro. He played a few rounds with us, let us try some more traditional paddles to compare, and gave his thoughts:

"It feels great! Different, but great. A slightly softer feel on harder hits, the rounded edges make it a little less forgiving if you nearly miss the ball, and the sound being quieter gives a different type of feedback. It's a little heavier, but all in all I think it plays great for a certain type of player who's looking for something heavier or more solid feeling."
