Book Stop
Get a grip on your reading
The Book Stop is a hardwood wall shelf with a clever sliding stop that grips your books in place. Push near the top to slide it, press your books together and let go for a satisfying, reliable hold. A little upward force releases it. Press it tight enough and it'll even flatten worn-out books.
Simple, rock-solid assembly
It arrives in pieces that slot together with dovetail joints, cut with a taper so they ease in and tighten as they go. The result is a rock-solid shelf anyone can put together, no tools required.

This bookshelf was 100% worth the wait! Beautifully crafted, unique and the perfect accent to our bedroom!! We’ve purchased all your items and am very happy with the quality and craftsmanship:)
What struck me about the Book Stop as I was assembling it was just how smooth the wood was. It's like glass. I didn't know you could do that to wood. Assembly is satisfying. I used a smidge of wood glue to really hold it together, but the joints were so snug I didn't have to.
I love the Book Stop. I love that it's actually two shelves, not one. My cat also loves the Book Stop. He looks up at it often. At first I thought he was puzzling out how to get on top of it. But now I think that he, like me, just really appreciates quality woodwork.
Aesthetically- the bookstop was everything I wanted. The design looks amazing in my space. Matches some of my own self-made furniture. My only note would be - I struggled getting the drywall anchors in place. Both anchors compromised on me during install (could be user error), so I had to buy new ones and shift the shelf down an inch to put in new holes. It also took some time getting the holes measured out the 29 3/4”. I think a paper template with the distance (or an equivalent) could go a long way for install.
Worth the wait! A very well built and beautiful shelf.
