Get a grip on your reading with The Book Stop. The sliding stop hangs from the top with a clever, simple mechanism to produce a unique book stopping experience. Push near the top to slide it with ease, press your books together and release for a satisfying, reliable grip. Use a little upward force to release. It can even be pressed tight enough to flatten worn out books.
The Book Stop comes in pieces you assemble yourself with simple dovetail joints, precision cut with a taper to ease installation and tighten as the joint is pressed together. The result is a rock solid shelf that anybody can assemble without tools.
Hangs on a matching hardwood cleat that blends in to the top shelf. Mount with included anchors, no need to find studs if anchors are installed correctly. Made entirely from sustainably sourced North American Cherry or Black Walnut hardwood.
