Great for Small Businesses!

I have been following Brent on social media for quite some time, and from those experiences I knew that he could tell a compelling story over a video. The surprising thing to me is that he can also do so through print! The Biglow Method is a well written, easy to follow blueprint for success. While it caters mostly to woodworkers, many of the principles are universally applicable. I would highly recommend this read to anyone who is thinking of, or who owns a small business and is looking for assistance with improvement. As an aside, Brent should really publish a longer version of this!

Invaluable Summary of Running a small business efficiently

This is an impressive document and you can tell that much time and care went into producing the PDF templates, it is aesthetically pleasing also .

I knew some of the content already , but its handy to have it all together as a single reference and about 70% was new to me. I would highly recommend anyone looking at starting their own business also read the original "The E-Myth by Gerber" and the Biglow Method sits beautifully on top of this .

One gotcha which caught me out, from my initial reading of the promo email I was expecting some short form videos to accompany the PDF and to be honest this swung me on my decision to buy because my wife can't absorb information easily from text but is very good at learning using video. Unfortunately there are no videos ! . There is a chapter in the PDF (chap 4 marketing Short form video 101) about making short form videos and it is very good.

In my main business I am working on a project to retain Artisan techniques around the world and especially indigenous crafts and I can see a substantial amount of this content being potentially useful (I will be contacting Biglow about the copyright licensing)
